July 4th, 2024 Family Picnic & Water Day
Thursday, July 4, Noon – 5:00PM
at Ballard Park
924 Thomas Barbour Drive, Melbourne
$5 fee for Non-members (fee waived if you join at the picnic)
Bring a dish to share, your own drink and your favorite item to grill. The grills will be ready and ice will be provided. Chef not provided so prepare to cook your own meat.
Ballard Park is situated on the Indian River Lagoon and Eau Gallie River. Bring your water craft, rafts, and flotation devices, and inner tubes, etc. There are boat ramps, tennis courts, and an outdoor basketball court. This is a family event. If anyone has games, such as corn hole, etc, that they don’t mind sharing with the group, please bring them.
Trailblazer board members and all helpful cleaning members will start to close up at 5:00 pm or sooner, pending whether people are still there. If you have water toys you are welcome to stay until the park closes!
